Skyim

I've been playing Skyrim a lot this past week. I have around 49 hours and am playing as a Khajiit Assassin, level 32.

So I think this game is amazing, and my vote for GOTY. It is estimated to have over 300 hours of content, plus an infinite line of generated quests for you to do, such as assassinations and thieving. With my 49 hours, I feel I've barely scratched the surface; considering I spent probably an hour total doing some of the infinite contracts I'm right. There are three main gameplay types to choose from, Mage, Warrior, and Rogue. These branch off into whatever you want, like a Paladen character would mainly be Warrior with a side of Mage. With the quests all having multiple chances of an outcome, this means there is a lot of replayability.

The interface in this game is perfected. It's easy to select spells or potions to use from the TAB menu, or you can favorite certain things and then hit Q to skim through your favorite lists. Leveling up is easy and not clunky like it seemed in Oblivion.

The fighting is very fun, with many different weapons and spells to use, the apparel to boast your stats, and the addition of shouts, you can approach a fight in an infinite amount of ways. With my personal upgrades, I can sneak up behind an unwary foe and strike a 30X damage hit, instantly killing most (30 hits in 1, with the chance to get that twice on one foe, it's almost cheating!). Very fun.

I'm loving this game and took a break only to write about it. It's my vote for GOTY, and I'm saying that even with my deep love with Battlefield 3. 10/10, go buy it!
